This website sets no cookies and loads no content from advertising or social networks. The fonts are served from our own server.

Hosting

The website is provided by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. With every page view, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system (server log files). This is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Images and content

We manage texts and photos with the content management system Sanity (Sanity AS, Norway). Images are loaded from the server cdn.sanity.io when a page is viewed, which transmits your IP address to Sanity (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visitor statistics

Vercel Web Analytics shows us how often which pages are viewed. No cookies are set and no user profiles are created. Visitors are only told apart by an anonymised value that expires after 24 hours. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact form and email

When you write to us through the form, your details (name, email address, occasion, date, place, message) are forwarded to us by email via the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA). Formspree stores the requests and checks them automatically for spam. Transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We use your details only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The same applies if you email us directly. We delete your request once it has been dealt with, unless legal retention obligations apply.

YouTube and Instagram

On the Stage page we link to videos on YouTube, and in the footer and on the Booking page to our Instagram profile. None of this is embedded: only when you click a link does YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland) or Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Ireland) open, and their privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Just write to info@velvetponyband.de. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
